Awakening the Wisdom Within Us

So often, feminine qualities have been made to seem less important - seen as soft, secondary, or even weak while we’ve been asked to lead with masculine traits instead. But we are being called to remember the truth: feminine qualities are powerful beyond measure. It’s time to honor them, embrace them, let them rise and pour them into the collective.

Women are powerful bitches, because we are born creators. But, creation is not limited to the children we bear, but to the lives we shape, the ideas we nurture, and the communities we heal. The Divine Feminine is rising now; not to overpower, but to rebalance the shit we are seeing. It is the feminine force of nurturing, intuition, creation, and fierce compassion, which is exactly the energetic forces the world so desperately needs right now.

There is something extraordinary about being a woman that goes far beyond biology and beyond what we normally see in nature. Unlike most living creatures, whose value fades once their ability to reproduce ends, human women are designed to continue; to thrive, to grow, and to lead. We don't just bring life into the world; we bring wisdom, nurturing, and strength that are vital to the survival and evolution of our communities.

Anthropologists call this the "Grandmother Hypothesis" – it’s the idea that human women live long past their childbearing years because their wisdom and support are essential to the flourishing of future generations. I am living proof of this right now, having just welcomed my first granddaughter into the world.

When I was raising my own children, I was such an anxious bitch - constantly worrying, second-guessing every decision, and getting frustrated with myself and the kids. But with my granddaughter, it’s different. I have no fears; instead, I feel an overwhelming ache to empower her. I don’t want to cloud her energy with the muck of my old doubts (I'll leave that shit to her parents, lol). I want to lift her into her own light.

And the truth runs even deeper. Science now confirms what ancient wisdom always knew: while we are still in our mother’s womb, we already carry all the eggs we will ever have. Which means, in a very real way, we once lived inside our grandmother. And she, in turn, carried the seeds of generations before her.

We are born connected to a council of women - a lineage of resilience, memory, and spirit. Science calls this epigenetics. Yes, we inherit the traumas of those who came before us, but more importantly, we inherit their resilience, their dreams, and their hard-earned wisdom. It’s not the trauma that defines us; it’s the lessons they learned and passed down through it. We just need to seek it and connect with it.

And here’s the beauty: this rising is not just for women. It’s for anyone ready to honor and embody the sacred feminine qualities like compassion, intuition, creativity, healing, and connection - all that the world is starving for. Every single one of us can add to the rising. Every act of nurturing, every choice to lead with heart.

The true power of women is not just in what we create, but in how we love, how we lead, how we nurture and how we heal. It is ancient. It is unstoppable. And it is rising.

Never forget: you carry the strength of generations within you. You are part of something sacred and enduring. You are exactly what this world needs.

What is your contribution for bringing these powerful feminine energies into the collective consciousness? What are you creating? How are you nurturing others and yourself? Where can you find more compassion for yourself and others - even for the assholes in your life? Remember that a mother loves all her children, even the difficult ones. How can you turn your wounds to wisdom and how can you share that? How do you receive intuitive messages? Who is your tribe and how do you contribute your beauty to it?

I would love to hear your thoughts.
